What format are the photos in? All Stock35.com photos are in JPG format. The largest size is saved in maximum jpg-quality (level 10) at 300 dpi. The original photos are archived in TIF format. If you would like to receive the photo in this format please contact me.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. I add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that I've have posted. Most new photos are taken with a 12 megapixel digital camera.
Can I submit photos to sell? No, so far I am the only one to submit photos.
I can not find the photos I'm looking for, do you make them on request?
Yes,if possible and the subject is in line with my style of work requests will be honoured but as long as it's free of obligations I cannot guarantee the photos will be produced within a short period of time. However if you need specific photography on short notice please contact me for a definite assignment. I'm located in the Netherlands, about 100 kilometers east of Amsterdam.
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made I can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because I offer full access to my entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for my products to be returned. On a rare occasion I will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Stock35.com photos that I download? Yes. While Stock35.com offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, I do not allow the redistribution of my photos, or allow the use of my photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Read the restrictions as mentioned for the different sizes. Note: not all photos are available for commercial use, this depends on wether the persons in the picture granted permission or not.
Most of the photos on this site are in colour. Does your archive contain more black and white photography and could this be purchased too?
Since I changed from analogue to digital photography in 2004 all my work is made in colour. Most of my recent work (from the year 2000 and up) is in colour too but the far majority of my older work, material from the last two decades of the twentieth century, is in B&W. I did not digitalize this part of my archive because nowadays there is not a large demand for these photographs. However, if you have any special request for certain B&W pictures, please contact me and I can search my archive for you and scan some examples.
Will I be charged for any additional costs, like taxes (VAT)?
No, except when you're Dutch. Since I am Dutch I have to charge my Dutch customers for an additional 19% BTW (VAT). This is a surplus payment action executed by Paypal. |
